Our holdings
The majority of the holdings are reference copies with two-day short-term loans for students and privileged loans for employees of the University of Göttingen. The holdings of non-European cultural studies, musicology and the Blaustrumpf Library can in many cases be borrowed by all users for two or four weeks.
Employees of the institutions can also enter the library at any time outside opening hours via the special access points and borrow books via the Self-Checkout Terminals.
The BBK's holdings can be searched in GöDiscovery and the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK).
Information flyers and site plans for orientation in the library are available on site.
Accessibility at the location
The Cultural Studies Divisional Library is accessible via the main entrance of the Cultural Studies Center, Heinrich-Düker-Weg 14. All floors are accessible by elevator.
There are toilets for people with reduced mobility on the first floor of the Divisional Library and in the foyer of the KWZ.
