SUB Göttingen actively engages in making knowledge about its collections accessible to the public, with exhibitions serving as a key platform for sharing and exploring this heritage.
Exhibiting at Forum Wissen
Forum Wissen is a central exhibition space on the Göttingen Campus. The permanent exhibition features over 1,400 objects from more than 70 academic collections of the University. Changing special exhibitions highlight current research topics across the Göttingen Campus. The museum is operated by the Centre for Collection Development of the University of Göttingen.
Together with researchers from the Göttingen Campus and partners from the wider community, we develop and present exhibitions, educational formats, and events for science communication. Our team of curators, collection managers, educators, marketing and press staff, and technicians welcomes your engagement.
Visit Forum Wissen Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Berliner Straße 28. Our exhibitions are free to visit until the end of 2026. Guided tours and group visits should be booked in advance.

Zentrale Kustodie
Die Zentrale Kustodie ist eine Serviceeinrichtung für die wissenschaftlichen Sammlungen am Göttingen Campus. Sie betreibt das Forum Wissen als zentralen Ort für Ausstellungen, Wissenschaftskommunikation und Sammlungsarbeit.
