Chair Prof. Gipp
Prof. Dr. Bela Gipp is Director of Research at the SUB Göttingen and holds the Chair of "Analysis of Scientific Information Resources" at the Institute of Computer Science at the Georg-August-University Göttingen. As part of the four-member directorate of the SUB, he is mainly responsible for the IT-related research, development and infrastructure activities of the SUB. Together with his team, he conducts research in the overlapping areas of data science, computer science and information science, in particular artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP) as well as information retrieval, analysis and visualization of information in large data sets. The close integration of the SUB's and the Chair's expertise in research, development and infrastructure operation enables the implementation of innovative and ambitious projects with numerous local, national and international partners.
