Our aim is to actively support researchers and advanced students at the Göttingen Campus in planning and implementing their research data management.
eResearch Alliance
The eResearch Alliance actively supports researchers at Göttingen Campus in planning and implementing research data management in accordance with the University of Göttingen’s Research Data Guidelines (including UMG). It assists with finding and using digital tools and services so that researchers can use digital support to answer their research questions or develop new ones.
eResearch technologies and sustainable data management are increasingly becoming part of the everyday lives of researchers and students. To prepare them for this challenge, the eResearch Alliance is working to integrate general and subject-specific courses on eResearch topics into the academic curriculum of the University of Göttingen.
Consulting and Training
The possible consulting topics cover all aspects of research data management from data storage, data exchange and data management to data formats and metadata standards to data publication options. In addition, we provide recommendations for publication strategies and open access, information on existing services at the Göttingen Campus and on funding applications for IT hardware and research instruments.
