Would you like to learn, discuss and work collaboratively in a group? We provide you with various group work rooms and areas.
Rooms for Groups Available at Our Locations

Central Library
On the ground floor of the Central Library, the Digital Creative Space offers a 380 square meter learning and working environment for smaller and larger groups. Further open group study spaces can be found on the 1st and 2nd floor. Students can also reserve three rooms for up to eight people online.

Forestry Divisional Library
Two group study rooms and a soundproofed carrel for up to four people can be used in the Forestry Divisional Library (BBF). Otherwise, group work is generally permitted in the study areas at a moderate volume.

Cultural Studies Divisional Library
In the Cultural Studies Divisional Library (BBK) you will find twelve freely accessible group study rooms with a total of 78 places in all wings for groups of 4 to a maximum of 16 people.

Medical Library
In addition to nine soundproofed carrels for up to four people, there are a further 168 workspaces for groups to use available in the Medical Library (BBM).

Physics Divisional Library
You can use three group study rooms in the Physics Divisional Library (BBP). Group work at a moderate volume is also permitted in the other study areas.

Waldweg Library
You can use two group study rooms for up to six people in the Waldweg Library. One of the rooms is equipped with a monitor.

Economics & Social Sciences Divisional Library
The Economics & Social Sciences Divisional Library (BBWiSo) has 140 workstations for groups to use on the first floor.

Historical Building
You can book double carrels in the Historical Building (HG) via this application. The carrels are allocated preferentially to researchers who specifically use our historic collections.

Learning and Study Building
The Learning and Study Building (LSG) offers students bookable work rooms for different group sizes. You can book the rooms online via a booking system in eCampus.
