The University of Göttingen pursues the goal of making the scientific results of its scientists and scholars as widely accessible and usable as possible, and for this reason supports the publications of its corresponding authors in genuine open access by means of a publication fund and in hybrid open access through participation in transformation contracts. The monitoring of the publication output and the transparency of the funds spent on publications will be continuously improved. To this end, publication data, project data and cost data are to be better linked and made accessible via interfaces. In a virtual information budget, centrally recorded funds for the supply of information are supplemented by decentralized publication funds.
