OA-Netzwerk
OA-Network: Establishment of a Network of Certified Open-Access Repositories
The objective of the "Open-Access Network" (OA-Network) project is to interconnect nationally certified repositories, already DINI-certified, within a superordinate platform to increase the national and international visibility of German research contributions. This is based on the understanding that digital collections can only achieve their optimal impact in terms of perception and usage within an organizationally and technically networked environment.
Initiated by the German Initiative for Networked Information (DINI), the project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). OA-Network serves as the umbrella for a virtual project consortium for “OA-Statistics” and “OA-Citation,” which will develop associated services such as usage metrics and citation analyses.
